Arrive in golden hour and watch the Catalinas blush rose as the sun slips away. By the second set, the desert has exhaled the day’s warmth into a soft, still evening; a nearly full moon is climbing over the ridge, and the first stars are out. Whether you’re savoring the rhythm of live jazz, sharing a glass of wine with friends, or dancing beneath the stars, this is September at La Paloma at its most magical.

The Table
Chef-crafted, sweet and savory — bacon-wrapped dates, abundant charcuterie, a roasting station, and beignets with bourbon sauce to close the night. The table is set in full below.
The Sky
September brings some of Tucson’s clearest skies of the year. As full dark settles, look up with Stargazing: a waxing Harvest Moon over the Catalinas, Saturn rising in the east, and the desert’s famous stars overhead.
